Stole these pictures from Roldan's Facebook album (I'm so sneaky)
The search to find an easy way to share our digital photos ends right here. Thanks to blogger.com and picasa.com we can promptly share the photos in our life!
This just in! My official 57th birthday picture! Daughter Haley gave me a card that starts "A long, LONG, time ago..." (when opened plays Star Wars theme. Cute!) and a huge jar of cashews (yum!). Wife Annie gave me some BearPaw slippers, making me promise to keep them locked up in the closet (Parker loves chewing slippers. Little does Annie know he only does it to make it easy for her to think of the same gift for each occasion in my life.) Oh, and Haley, on her own (bless her heart), went to Safeway and bought me a carrot cake! (and yes she bought it day old to save $2! Good girl!!)
Whether in the “massage” line, or being artsy-smartsy with her fellow runners, Haley has a way of always enjoying herself!
Here’s a picture of Haley with her Cross Country Team for this year.
This picture was in the Hillsboro Argus.
This is a big year for Haley. She has turned 16, has her driver’s license, has a car to drive, and today she began by driving herself and friend Robin Marquardt to their first day as Juniors at Forest Grove High School!
Haley is currently running Cross Country and is in several honors programs. Quite the busy lady!
This was a tough day for Haley. She had not had her hair cut in years and decided to trust this fella. She was not happy with the results, went back to the barrio and did more cutting herself. There were a lot of tears for a couple of days before life returned to normal. When chatting with her on the internet, Haley said she looked like "Dora the Explorer", a cartoon character.
