Barbies Going To The Philippines

Annie worked extra hard to make enough to send two boxes of goodies to our family in the Philippines. The company "LBC" picks the boxes up today and then they are put on cargo ship and sail to the Philippines! This is a busy time of year for LBC. Thousands of boxes are headed "home" for Christmas!

New Glasses For Haley

As part of a special national self-esteem study Haley has three years of free contacts and new glasses each year. Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, has an outstanding Optometry department. I think this year Haley is going for that European model look. What do you think?

At 53, I am treated to new PJ's and a trip to Mc Donalds... Guess which gift I liked more.

This year's applesauce...Labor of Love

Once again, thanks to our parent's generosity, we have some awesome fruits to enjoy. The apples are "skinned", micro'd for 12 minutes and then thrown in a pot to boil and simmer. Add a little sugar and cinnamon....yum!

It's Corn Time!

Once again, thanks to the generosity of Mom and Dad, we have this great corn! It came directly from the farm and Annie cooked it, and then froze it so we can have an entire year of sweet goodness.
