Global Warming in a Jar?
Haley's Science Project this year was about "Global Warming". She released carbon dioxide into this jar by putting baking soda into vinegar. The control jar didn't get the extra co2. Although the temperature did indeed stay warmer in this jar, the plants grew faster in the other jar. Reason: Haley was worried that the seeds might not sprout so she packed extra seeds and the picture you see is only about half of what eventually sprouted. Too much over-crowding!
